I am an experienced international sales and marketing executive, with over 25 years in the travel industry. I have an extensive global general management background with P&L responsibility and a track record of delivering revenue and driving turn-around situations. A key part of my experience has been focused on client development and retention. 
I started my career with Thomson Holidays (TUI) and moved onto British Airways Holidays and British Airways, where I worked in the UK and Japan. Moving to the USA, to head up a global travel representation company, provided further insight to global distribution, managing global clients and new market development. The creation of my own consulting company provided a new challenge which led to roll as Chief Commercial Officer at Air Mauritius in a turnaround.  Also consulted with two leading Fin-Tech companies in the  airline sector, Plusgrade and UpLift. More recently I was Chief Commercial Officer with Alaska's largest locally based carrier, RavnAir Group.
I have managed and grown both local and global sales & marketing teams for a large global client base, leading to an excellent understanding of relationship management of multi-national travel industry brands. I have delivered new product and new market development with local market sales launches for many travel related companies in differing sectors, from airlines to cruise lines. My entrepreneurial experience has come from managing, selecting and coaching a global network of international licensees, both new start-ups and established businesses, within the travel industry.
I have developed, motivated, managed and been responsible for teams of 10 to 500 within multi-national blue chip companies and small to medium sized entrepreneurial companies.
